Fairy Tales and Forgotten Dreams

There's still a bit of work to be done, but as you can see progress is being made.

For comparison's sake- here's what the "couch" looked like before I got my hands on it...

I'm adding some floral cane work to the chair. After all the canes are places, I'll add some more white clay, and also a green stripe into the patter, to give the couch a soft and comfy appearance. Then we'll add some throw pillows on, too. 

This one isn't a fairy- just a sweet old lady and her cat

The little couch is sculpted of clay over a wire and cardboard armature- the old lady is a full sculpt, no hair or clothing will be added. They both have ALOT of work yet to be done... stay tuned...

 This is just a quick picture to give you the idea of where this is going- I promise that better pictures are coming along the line!
